Amy became interested in massage therapy while working as an office assistant for a local energy efficiency company, utilizing her B.S. in Small Business Management. Her work hours were spent in front of a computer, which led to chronic headaches and an all-around stiffness. After deciding that a desk job wasn't for her, Amy enrolled at Southeastern Institute in Nashville, and graduated from their massage therapy program in 2011.
Amy's modalities currently include Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, and prenatal massage. Her sessions are adaptable according to the needs of the client, and she values both stress relief and pain relief. She is licensed in the state of Tennessee and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
When she is not doing massage, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, family, and friends. She loves being outdoors, going to Predators hockey games, concerts, eating, and playing the piano. She is also a freelance piano teacher at a local elementary school.
